Japanese Year 1 Term

Term Booklets are designed for flexible teaching through short units of work which can be supplemented with art lessons, learning songs, playing games, task-based language projects or revising language.

Units of work focus on topics that develop children’s receptive and productive language skills, pronunciation and vocabulary in the target language.

Each term booklet includes topics comprised of sequential learning content, expanding children’s prior language knowledge. In total, four term booklets cover learning content designed for a yearly language program, consisting of weekly, one hour language lessons.

Alternatively, units of work in each term booklet can be used as additional learning material for schools that offer more intensive or immersive language programs.
